Shyla Mathews

Executive Function Coach & Educational Therapist

I support

Children, adolescents, parents, and adults in Singapore with Executive Function Coaching and Educational Therapy, including individuals diagnosed with ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, and other learning challenges.

My work

Integrates Executive Function Coaching with Educational Therapy (language and literacy), recognising that reading, writing, comprehension, and internal language are key foundations for planning, regulation, self-monitoring, and independence.

Support is designed strategically to reduce cognitive load and build sustainable systems for learning, growth, wellbeing, and daily life.

My Approach

Meet the person where they are. Help co-create the skills and systems to get them to where they want to be.

The Difference that is Shyla

1) Evidence-Based Support You Can Track

I use research-informed methods and practical tools that can be measured, reviewed, and adjusted over time, so progress is visible.

2) Seeing What Sits Beneath the Struggle

I bring deep experience in Executive Function to identify what's beneath both visible challenges (missed work, disorganisation, shutdown) and invisible ones (overload, anxiety, shame, low confidence, time blindness).

3) Strategic Design of Systems and Support

I do not just teach strategies; I help build the environment, routines, and systems that make follow-through more likely at school, at home, and in daily life.

4) Attuned to Building Real Independence

I am deeply attuned to creating the conditions where independence can actually emerge — step by step, with the right amount of structure and support.

5) Flexibility to Co-Create What Works

Coaching is personalised and collaborative. We co-create strategies and systems that fit the individual, so follow-through becomes realistic and repeatable.
